NEW YORK, NY<\/strong> \u2013 In recognition of her industry leadership, workforce development efforts and support for the local community, Laura Bush, Consigli Construction Co., Inc. Regional Director \u2013 NYC Metro & NJ\/PA, was recently honored by The Torch Foundation<\/a> with its annual Professional of the Year award.<\/p>\n

The Torch Foundation, a non-profit committed to building a foundation for a better tomorrow, promotes the health and well-being of local children through its support of and partnership with organizations that empower families during challenging times. Its annual Professional of the Year award is presented to an individual who embodies The Torch Foundation\u2019s values, and has made a measurable difference in the lives of young people through mentorship, education or leadership initiatives.<\/p>\n

Joined by fellow industry leaders and colleagues, she was honored by The Torch Foundation and its leadership at the organization\u2019s 35th<\/sup> annual gala, which benefited pediatric care at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Through its work in conjunction with other children\u2019s organizations, the foundation has also previously partnered with NYU Langone Medical Center, Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center and the Ronald McDonald House.<\/p>\n
